Mike Landshoff, Sales Manager for the South East of the UK achieved a lifelong ambition yesterday the 22nd April 2012, not only did Mike compete in and complete the 2012 Virgin London Marathon, but posting a time of 3′ 52″ was a magnificent personal achievement! Congratulations Mike, from us all here at Symbios UK, Exeter.

Afterwards, Mike posted the following message:

Dear everyone,

I am sitting in bed, contemplating crawling into a bath, safe in the knowledge that I managed to complete the 2012 Virgin London Marathon in 3 hours and 52 minutes yesterday.
I want you to know that is it by far the hardest thing I have ever done in my life, but I got through it, knowing you were behind me both with good wishes and finance!
I managed to raise £3500 for Children With Cancer and I have you all to thank for that.

For those of you who have not yet done this race, it is true about the crowds. They are amazing. I can’t believe people give up their day to cheer people like me on.
However I can safely say, this is a lifetime achievement. I am never doing it again!
In a way I paled into insignificance as I was not wearing a set of fairy wings or a Spiderman outfit, and I was also not 101 years old!

Anyway, I wanted to say Thank You to all of you. The beer in the picture is for me. The medal is for all of you!

Love and best wishes
