On Monday 17th April at 12.13 local time, a Piper PA-31T Cheyenne II crashed shortly after takeoff from Cascais Airport in Portugal. The aircraft was registered to Symbios Orthopaedic SA and all four occupants of the Cheyenne II were killed, including Symbios CEO M. Jean Plé. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Jean’s family, his friends and business associates, he will be very sadly missed by those close to him whilst the orthopaedic business community has lost a truly creative ‘game changer’.
